Hi, I’m Eileen, and Hart and Soul Pottery is a little piece of my heart. It started right here in my home studio a few years ago. After spending more than 30 years as a sweater designer, I realized I needed to fill a creative space that had gone quiet in my life.
Pottery brought that joy back to me.
The love for detail, texture, creativity, and the soft imperfections — they all reminded me of the threads and stitches I used to play with. But pottery also taught me something new: patience.
I’ve learned that the clay has a way of humbling you; it isn’t always forgiving, but it rewards care and attention in the most beautiful way.
I would like to thank my daughter and Husband, as they are the one's who encouraged me to share my work with the world. They knew how much love and heart went into every piece. Together, we started this as a small, heartfelt business — not because we wanted to build something big, but because we wanted to build something meaningful.
Every mug, vase, or bowl I create carries a bit of my story. The joy comes not just from making them, but from seeing people connect with them. When someone smiles, holding a piece I made, or asks me to make a custom piece for them, that’s when I know I’ve shared more than pottery.
I’ve shared a part of myself.
